About me

Dr. Stephen G. Somkuti M.D., Ph.D., joins Ferny Fertility New York relocating to Manhattan from Philadelphia. He is a recipient of numerous local, national and international awards, having lectured worldwide, has been a clinical investigator in over 20 major fertility trials. Dr. Somkuti completed
residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Duke University Medical Center and the Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He maintains board certification in both disciplines. Additionally, he holds a doctorate degree in male
reproductive toxicology from Duke University. As a result, Dr. Somkuti is consistently recognized as a ‘Philadelphia Top Doc’, authoring over 60 journal publications, book chapters and textbooks. Dr. Somkuti brings over three decades of clinical patient care and guidance to Ferny New York Fertility.
